“After 4 fantastic days we are sadly going home today, we wish that we could stay for another week. Melanie and Grant, thank you so much, everything is so perfect. Some of the highlights from this trip:
◦ Trekabout Tours – we had a wonderful day with Steve, visited some great wineries and learnt a lot
◦ Had a beautiful lunch at Bimbadgen
◦ Found some fantastic produce, for example the most divine chilli oil from Hunter Valley Olive Oil Co, it is hot but if you like chilli this oil is a must. From the Cheese Factory and Tasting Room the most divine Hunter gold washed rind – I love this cheese! The marinated feta from Binnorie Dairy. Wow, almost forgot the chilli olives from Irongate, simply the best and for something unique the new pickled grapes from Moorebank Private Vineyard
◦ The highlight of this trip was to be picked up by a helicopter and flown to Muse to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. What a day, Muse is by far the best restaurant the food was divine, if you get the opportunity book a helicopter flight, it is the most fun and such a nice way to see the Hunter.
