It was a delight to open drawers to find that all the little things had been taken care of. We were blessed with beautiful weather and gave the bikes (our ourselves!) a good work out on the way to Undercliff Winery to view the sculptures. The view from the deck is so tranquil and the perfect place to enjoy the great breakfast you provided.

Driving up the dirt road and then the driveway only increases the impact as you open the door and step into the 21st Century.

The small details make a big difference, the candles, the wine, the chocolates, the iPod dock. Your information manual describing your eco-conscious decisions was inspiring. We live in Hawaii and follow many of these same principles.

"The luxury, peace and tranquility that we have enjoyed for 4 nights has revived the two of us, and we leave here having truely indulged in all the area has to offer.

The bird life is fascinating and for us it was a highlight to see a mob of kangaroos pass by our bedroom window early in the morning. The scenery is beautiful, and quite mystical on the foggy mornings.

The luxury of this retreat and the extra special touches have given us a unique and memorable stay. Well done to you both!"

"What a beautiful retreat. We stayed 5 nights and wished it could have been longer. We have stayed 3 times previously in the Hunter at Pokolbin and we are so glad we have found “Somewhere Unique”. We much prefer the peaceful surroundings of Wollombi.

The retreat exceeded our expectations, you have thought of everything even down to the lovely bathroom products.

My husband ventured out on the bike and conquered the hill - too scary for me!

The weather was spectacular and we loved watching the black cockatoos in the trees. We will be back but for 7 nights next time. Keep up the good work. We will certainly recommend “Somewhere Unique” to everyone."

We are very impressed with the high quality and attention to detail. It has far exceeded our high expectations. It is so much better than we anticipated, even from the beautiful photos on your website. And it was so perfectly clean!!

We had a wonderful time here and the bikes were great fun! The little village is gorgeous. We enjoyed exploring it for the short time we were here.
