We continue our environmental initiatives by measuring and offsetting greenhouse gas emissions generated by our business activities including; LPG, electricity, business vehicle use, and off-site waste disposal. We aim to avoid excess consumption, reuse where possible, reduce waste and offset excess emissions generated at the end of the Financial Year. The carbon footprint for the business for the 12 months to 30/6/14 has been calculated using an online Emissions Calculator.
During the period 1/7/13-30/6/14, we offset 2.6 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions, via Greenfleet, who work hard to protect and restore Australia’s native biodiversity. Since 1997, Greenfleet has planted over 8.378 million native trees to restore biodiverse forests around Australia.
