It’s getting deliciously cool in the valley as we head into our winter months. The gas log fires in the retreats are ready to welcome you. Rug up on our new deck, soak up the warming winter sun and listen to the beautiful birdsong. Look out for our resident wallabies as they roam around the property – there are many mobs on Narone Creek Road and an early morning walk will ensure you will see them. Wombats will be snuffling around at night as they rummage their way through the bush looking for tussocky snow and kangaroo grass to eat. As it starts to dry out after all the rain, the distant sound of mowing evokes thoughts and smells of freshly mown grass and fields.
Today The Groundsman and I are taking that early morning walk to the end of Narone Creek Road. It truly is spectacular countryside, leading you through lush pastureland, stunning bush scenes and amazing rock features. Come and share it with us, we love it here and we know you will too.
